Here is the place to write a Show Report for your venue, detailing as much information as you can that might help shows there in years to come. Include things such as dimensions of stage, passing traffic, good spots to flyer, useful promo, tech equipment, ambient noise; anything that will help give shows a good idea of the venue before they arrive. **Please include your show number so we can confirm your show report is in the right venue forum**

I did 5 days here Maddie Campion: Mads Mads Mads 14:10 There wasn't any real flyering opportunities, however due to a mix of the WBB and a couple of randomers, I never had to pull a show Venue staff were terrific. Think the signage could be a bit better as I arrived a couple of weeks in and it wasn't that obvious from the street (and how to get in). Also some audience members Googled 'Dog House' and went to another venue, which is something that perhaps the venue itself will discover soon Only issue was a group of awful middle-aged people marching through and disrupting one show, and ordering from the bar... I had a guest on stage at the time and she didn't feel it was her place to ask them to leave. I got quite angry at them as they really waltzed in with no regard, and refused to leave when the show ended as they claimed they wanted to watch what was next.

Great venue for my show was back for a 2nd year in 23 and i hope to return in 24, great square room with a brick wall which makes for an excellent intimate 50ish seater. The staff are all lovely and really helpful. Potential drawbacks you do get a few walk throughs of people going or coming from the terrace its generally not to bad for me but due to that it does suit acts who are happy to go off script and interact so possibly not ideal for a serious thoughtful piece. Its not far from the Mile but it is a bit out of the way so it more suits a show that isnt relying on flyering, id advise being in main programme for this venue due to that. Being a Brewdog the place is well done out and even has air con! So generally doesnt get too warm in the room, tho it played up a couple of times and that was hot!! Make sure to ask the bar if its on. Feel free to reach on socials if any ?s Gary

Van Gogh Find Yourself show number 446 1215pm Full run Show report BrewDog Dog House Hotel venue 603: FYI: Venue has people walking through and interrupting at certain points. I personally don't mind interruption because they do happen. Staff comes inside to pour beer since their is no Tap on the patio. I did a full run it was one of my favorite venues the staff was nice at first I was doing my show facing the chairs and in my show we draw art so after a few shows it didn't feel right so I started moving a table from the outside and the venue let me use a table I couldn't have bought a table or borrowed one maybe somewhere but the venue would let me use the table they were very kind sometimes they would help Moving the table did add some stress but that was the only thing that was laborious. I was there very early and I would also help the venue bringing out the supplies that were stored on the bench. We also had an issue with some people liked an aisle in splitting the chairs into 2 sections, just so there wasn't 15 chairs in a row. So it was maybe seven and seven This middle aisle which sometimes was not set up. we thencommunicated with the venue and they tried to make that happen if I wasn't there early. My show was the second show. PA system: We had some issues with the mic crackling and some feedback. I think there was some other issues with a guitar chord but that later came to be some other problem not connected with the PA system. It was a great group of artists to go through all of these struggles with everybody was pretty helpful and kind. I liked the venue and will post some photos.

Becky Godman: The Day My Sugar Daddy Dumped Me, Show #641 I liked this venue a lot! Central, really friendly staff. Can't stress enough that everyone who worked there was always willing to help and was always friendly. I got to know a lot of the staff by the end of my run, and they were only ever kind. It's an accessible venue. There is foot traffic during shows. There's an outdoor seating area, and staff have to serve patrons, but bar is located in venue itself. If you are easily distracted, an evening/night time show in this venue may not be the right choice for you. Mostly it wasn't an issue for me, but one night when I had a full house there were people coming in and out maybe 20+ times. There's no avoiding this, but just a heads up if you're someone who needs focus. My show was at 17:00, and I imagine the traffic in and out during later hours of the evening only gets busier. Venue is clean, nice atmosphere, I had some people come to the show because they were staying at the hotel. It's right off Canongate. There was a little storage area, enough for PA system, mics, etc. Communication was super easy with staff. Overall, I had a lovely experience there.
